The NIH will begin requiring biosketches in the new, five-page format for all applications submitted on or after January 25, 2015.  (Read the announcement.)  You can download a sample of the new format from the NIH website.  The list of publications has been replaced by a “Contribution to Science” section, which will require you to describe up to five of your most significant contributions to science, including the historical background, central findings, influence or application of those findings, and your role in the work, in addition to four supporting publications or research products such as curricula, instruments, models, protocols, or software.

Edit: This requirement has been rolled back to May 25. Read more.
