Are you planning a K or R01 award submission for February 2020?  Do you want to learn more about pacing yourself smoothly to completion of your application? Join us for a practical series of workshops and peer accountability meetings designed to help you prepare the best possible grant. Break it Down to Build it Better consists of two workshops: a half-day session followed by an all-day workshop. Both sessions involve pre-work. During workshops you will have many opportunities to ask questions, troubleshoot problems, and work on your upcoming submission.

You must be submitting a grant in February (January for AIDS related grants) to participate and must commit to both sessions (one in April, one in May) and the majority of the group meetings. Up to 16 individuals will be able to participate in each workshop. Email Adrienne Babcock (adrienne.babcock@vumc.org) by August 2 to reserve your spot.  Note which type of grant you’re planning.
