In grad school, a new investigator was pressuring me to come to his lab to study the molecular basis of learning in sea slugs. Sea slugs are dreadful little creatures and I pointed out to the PI that ‘all the smart sea slugs are back in the ocean where they belong’.

This morning’s laugh comes from The Onion taking a dig at a thoughtless mouse that destroyed months of work by finding the memory task far too easy. It’s funny because it’s sort of true. Enjoy.

My inner geek wants to point out that The Onion has a picture of rat even though they are talking about a mouse.
